Generate Health and St. Louis Center for Family Development, LLC have partnered for the 4th year to provide the Leadership Academy for Trauma Informed Care. This is an exciting opportunity for creating trauma-informed organizations in order to improve the care women receive. Organizational leaders will learn about trauma-informed care in a one day didactic training session, and participate in four monthly consultation meetings to learn from one another and garner support for the implementation of the paradigm shift. The intent of the training is for leaders to learn about trauma informed care, the benefits for their clients and employees, and how to create the cultural shift for the organization.
Who is eligible?
Any executive and/or upper management leaders who are decision makers in human service organizations that serve pregnant or postpartum women in the St. Louis region.
What is the commitment?
One full day training session, and participation in 4 monthly learning collaborative sessions of 1.5 hours each. Participants must agree to attend all trainings and learning collaborative sessions.
