Generate Health builds collective power to advocate for racially equitable policies and practices that center, support, and celebrate Black families throughout their pregnancy and parenthood journeys.

We envision a future where Black families in St. Louis thrive before, during, and beyond pregnancy.

Our Guiding Approach:
We dismantle and reconstruct systems of maternal care to be equitable and just by uplifting the experiences and leadership of Black women and birthing people and recognizing the intersections in their lives. Change requires the work of all, including non-Black allies. We make change by organizing networks of community leaders, organizations and providers, utilizing data and advocating for policy and systems change. Generate Health adopts and supports the priority issues selected by Community Leaders.
