Trauma Informed Care is a term that is being used widely these days. Direct service providers and their supervisors have expressed a need for how to implement the trauma informed care principles and assumptions. What makes an interaction or intervention trauma informed? What is required to put those core principles and assumptions into practice?
The focus of this training is about the application of trauma informed care as opposed to an explanation of the framework.
Who is eligible?
- Any direct service provider in the St. Louis region who serves pregnant and postpartum women, children and families.
- Supervisors of direct service providers
(Please note: a separate trauma training targeting organizational executives and administrators, Trauma Informed Care Leadership Academy, will be provided in March)
