Don’t miss the Legislative Wrap-up on June 11!
In place of our June Quarterly Coalition Meeting, please join us for a presentation about bills that passed this legislative session, and how they will affect children and their families.
Where: The Engineers’ Club, at 4359 Lindell
When: June 11 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM
What: A review of 2014 bills in the areas of budget, child welfare, early care and education, and health. We’ll take a look at what was accomplished as well as future challenges.
Who: Three knowledgeable speakers: Amy Blouin of the Missouri Budget Project; Judy Dungan of the Missouri Children’s Leadership Council; and Emily van Schenkhof of Missouri KidsFirst
Why: Because public policy affects the lives of children and their families, particularly vulnerable children
